THE CITIZENRY LETTERS

The Citizenry Letters is an independent non-partisan space for American citizens who wish to contribute to rational discourse surrounding current events, policy, or law. A self-funded effort, The Citizenry Letters aims to encourage Americans to exercise their right to free speech articulately, revisit America’s rich history, and stay informed. Above all, its aim is to strengthen our democratic system and protect our liberties through reading and writing.

Today, opinionated ranting, uninformed social network posts, and letter to the editor constraints minimize intelligent discourse surrounding current events, policy, and law. As discouraging as it may be, however, America cannot be truly represented unless all Americans participate – citizen involvement is the cornerstone of a strong democratic system.

The Citizenry Letters encourages you to write as an author focused on equality and civility, which will champion intelligent public-minded discourse.
